Sector Alarm runs its own monitoring centre in Mijas and bought ADT Spain in 2026, so it now sells under both names. It rents you the equipment rather than selling it, and asks for one month of notice at renewal.
around 11,000 reviews. One of the highest scores of the six. Checked 25 July 2026.
The service and the installers review well. The app is the weak point, and it scores noticeably lower in the app stores than the company does on Trustpilot.
How Sector Alarm sits against the other five
Six companies dominate monitored home alarms in Spain, listed alphabetically. The full table is on the comparison page.
They are the same company in Spain. Sector Alarm Spain, S.A.U. absorbed the ADT Spain business in June 2026 and now contracts under both names. Whichever brand you are quoted, check the contracting company on the paperwork.
Two years to start, then it continues year to year. Notice is one month before the renewal date, in writing. Deferred setup costs can be brought forward if you leave early.
No. It stays Sector Alarm property unless you take a purchase option when the contract ends. Ask what you would need to return and what buying it would cost.
Only if you have contracted that service, and it is normally a look around the outside. No company promises an arrival time, and the contract says timing depends on traffic, workload and how far away you are.
Their monitoring centre is in Mijas, but that tells you where the centre is, not where they install. Ask for written confirmation for installation, maintenance and any callout service separately, because those are not always the same area.

Send it over. We will read it in English and tell you what it commits you to. Then we will compare it against the rest of the market.
We earn a commission if you set up an alarm through us. It does not change what is on this page. We cannot arrange every company we write about. The comparison is ordered alphabetically, not by what we earn. If a company we cannot arrange suits you better, we will say so.

Where this comes from
Company identity and registration come from the national register of security companies, and the merger from the official BORME filing. Contract points come from Sector Alarm published general terms, and review figures are a dated snapshot from one named platform.
