Setting up internet in Valencia: what to expect
Valencia is almost entirely covered by fibre, so the real question is not "can I get it", it is "will it reach my exact flat without a fuss." In modern blocks it is quick. In the old protected buildings of Ciutat Vella and El Carmen, and some renovated flats in Ruzafa, the cable route, the façade rules and the landlord permission matter more than which provider you pick.
Easy if
- You are moving into a modern block or a recently built development. Installs are usually fast and uncomplicated.
- You just want a normal fast home line and you are choosing on price and support, not coverage.
- You can be at the flat for the appointment and give the technician access.
Check carefully if
- You are in an old protected building in Ciutat Vella or El Carmen. Expect cable-routing, façade rules and landlord sign-off.
- You are renting a renovated flat in Ruzafa. Coverage is good, but the specific portal and who is allowed to sign still matter.
- You are in a beachside townhouse in El Cabanyal. Installs there vary house by house.

The historic heart. Beautiful old buildings, but the trickiest installs: cable routing, protected façades and landlord permission all come into play.

Beachside townhouses near the port. Character-filled, but installs vary house to house, so check the specific property.

The easiest of all: modern wiring and straightforward appointments.
