You choose the retailer
Naturgy is the free-market retailer for electricity and gas contracts.
Naturgy is a major electricity and gas group. It can make sense for homes with mains gas (gas piped in, not bottled), but household support is mostly in Spanish unless Settlewell handles the setup layer in English.

Naturgy is worth considering when the home has mains gas as well as electricity. For English-only newcomers, the provider journey is less comfortable than Endesa or Octopus.
Spain splits electricity into two jobs. The comercializadora is the retailer that bills you. The distribuidora is the grid company that owns the wires and meter; you cannot choose it.

UFD in several regions. UFD covers areas such as Galicia, Madrid and Castile regions, but the distributor is assigned by address.
Gas & Power is the group route for PVPC, Spain's government-regulated electricity price, and Bono Social, a government discount for low-income households, when you are eligible.
Naturgy can be handled directly if you are comfortable in Spanish, or Settlewell can help keep the setup in English.

Use Settlewell if you want help choosing, preparing the details and setting up electricity in English. We can also set up your whole move in English: electricity, gas, water, internet, home insurance and alarms.
