Is Endesa right for you?
Endesa is a safer mainstream choice if official English-capable support matters, but it still comes with big-provider complexity.
Choose Endesa if

What you choose, and what you cannot choose
Spain splits electricity into two jobs. The comercializadora is the retailer that bills you. The distribuidora is the grid company that owns the wires and meter; you cannot choose it.
You cannot choose the grid
e-distribucion in many regions. The group distributor covers large areas, but you still cannot choose your distributor; it is assigned to the address.
Regulated route
Energía XXI is the group route for PVPC, Spain's government-regulated electricity price, and Bono Social, a government discount for low-income households, when you are eligible.

Gather these details before you start, whether you do it yourself or ask Settlewell to do it for you.
Endesa is one of the more document-friendly large providers, but holder-change and installation details still matter.
CUPS
The permanent code that identifies your home's electricity supply point. It is on any bill.
Holder and ID details
DNI/NIF/CIF or passport, contact details, CUPS/address, old and new holder details where relevant, and IBAN.
IBAN
Your bank account number for direct debit.
Potencia contratada
The amount of power, in kW, your home can draw at once. Check it before accepting the setup unchanged.
Provider-specific tips
- Document fit: Endesa lists passport among accepted identity documents for relevant contracting routes.
- Property fit: For a holder change, Endesa says there is no direct cost, but distributor charges may apply if the installation needs review.
English support reality
Endesa is the one old-line provider where the official English-capable line can be stated firmly.
