Is Plenitude right for you?
Plenitude is a credible green and second-home option for Spanish-comfortable households. For English-speaking newcomers, Settlewell is the bridge.
Choose Plenitude if
- You want a green challenger with electricity, gas, solar or EV angles.
- You are considering a second-home electricity setup.
- You are comfortable with Spanish-first household support or want Settlewell to handle it.
Look elsewhere if
- You need a provider-native English route.
- You are outside its cleaner coverage areas or have a rural/new-build address.
- You need PVPC or Bono Social.
What you choose, and what you cannot choose
Spain splits electricity into two jobs. The comercializadora is the retailer that bills you. The distribuidora is the grid company that owns the wires and meter; you cannot choose it.

Your local distributor. Coverage is not clean all-Spain; address-level checks matter, especially islands and rural homes.
Regulated route
This retailer is free-market only. It is not the route for PVPC, Spain's government-regulated electricity price, or Bono Social.

CUPS
The permanent code that identifies your home's electricity supply point. It is on any bill.
Holder and ID details
NIF/DNI/NIE, IBAN, CUPS and CIE, an electrical safety certificate from a registered electrician / boletin, an electrical safety certificate from a registered electrician where applicable.
IBAN
Passport-only signup and foreign SEPA IBAN acceptance can vary by route.
Potencia contratada
The amount of power, in kW, your home can draw at once. Check it before accepting the setup unchanged.
Provider-specific tips
- Document fit: Plenitude lists NIF/DNI/NIE, IBAN, CUPS and CIE or boletin where applicable. Passport-only signup is not as clear as some large-provider routes.
- Property fit: Check address eligibility and add-on services carefully; some add-ons can create cancellation costs.

What still belongs to the distributor
Power cuts, meter problems and some activation steps belong to the grid company for the address, not to the retailer you choose.
